ECO ENZYME TRAINING AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO ORGANIC WASTE

Lack of education in waste management causes the majority of waste to end up in final disposal sites (TPA). Waste processing needs to be done to maintain cleanliness and environmental sustainability. Knowledge in waste processing needs to be improved so that people can utilize the results of waste processing. This research aims to determine the Eco enzyme training process as an alternative for processing organic waste. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques used being observation, documentation and interviews, and data analysis used through data reduction, data presentation, conclusions. The research results show that in the Eco Enzyme training process at the Ciamis Main Waste Bank there are three stages, including planning, implementation and evaluation. The planning starts with planning time, place, methods, learning media and funds. There are three learning sessions in the implementation, namely preparation of tools and materials, socialization about Eco enzymes, and practice of making Eco enzymes. The final stage of training is evaluation, where in this stage Ciamis Main Waste Bank pays attention to the results of the training in the form of training outputs, training outcomes and monitoring (observations) on participants who take part in the training. The conclusion of this research is that apart from providing practical knowledge and skills through Eco Enzyme training, it also helps build environmental awareness regarding the importance of reducing the negative impacts caused by organic waste on the ecosystem.
