Abstract

Responding to changes that occur quickly is something that must be done by an educational institution in order to remain existing and able to adapt to changes in all fields in the digital era. This study aims to determine how the management and strategy of Islamic elementary school principals in making changes that have an impact on improving the quality of education in the era of disruption. This research uses qualitative methods. The principal of Al Falah Islamic Elementary School in Cirebon became the main sample in this study. Based on this research, it is concluded that the leadership changes carried out by the principal of Islamic Elementary School in developing and making creative and innovative changes in the era of disruption while maintaining Islamic principles or values that have implications for the quality of education, leadership management carried out by the principal does not only have an impact on the school itself. However, it also has an impact on students as an educational output of an institution. Both in terms of character, knowledge, religion and love for the Qur'an that can foster goodness. The results showed that the leadership of change carried out by the principal of Al Falah Islamic Elementary School in Cirebon city in facing this era of disruption went well with excellent planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. Information technology helps facilitate all human activities, information search, delivery of information and literacy about the addition of knowledge in learning by utilizing technology, so that teachers can be creative and develop learning and also students can learn by utilizing learning resources optimally.
